Affordable Therapy Program

Accessible Mental Health Care, Without Financial Barriers

We believe that access to quality mental health care should not depend on income, insurance coverage, or life circumstances. Our Affordable Psychotherapy Program is designed to support individuals, couples, and families who may be experiencing financial hardship, are uninsured, underinsured, or navigating transitional periods in their lives.

This program offers reduced-fee psychotherapy while maintaining the same clinical standards, professionalism, and ethical care as our standard services.

Finding the Right Fit Starts Here

This program may be a good fit if you:

  • Are experiencing financial hardship or limited income
  • Do not have extended health insurance or have limited coverage
  • Are a student, newcomer to Canada, or in a career transition
  • Are managing unexpected life stressors such as job loss, illness, separation, or caregiving responsibilities
  • Want access to professional psychotherapy at a more affordable rate

We welcome clients from across Ontario and select regions of Canada, with services offered virtually to increase accessibility.

Therapists within our Affordable Psychotherapy Program come from strong professional and academic backgrounds. All clinicians are:

  • Registered Psychotherapists (RP) or Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
  • Trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Actively supervised and supported to ensure high-quality, ethical care

Some therapists in this program are completing their Master’s Degrees and are in their qualifying or supervised practice period, while others are fully licensed clinicians. Regardless of designation, all therapists adhere to professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and scope of practice guidelines.

Clients may seek support for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • Burnout and workplace stress
  • Relationship and family challenges
  • Life transitions and identity concerns
  • Trauma and emotional regulation
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Grief and loss

Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to develop goals that align with your needs, values, and circumstances.

Affordable, Sliding-Scale Fees

Our current fees range from $160-$215/ hour, and fees for this program are offered at a reduced or sliding-scale rate, based on therapist designation and availability. Our goal is to balance affordability with sustainability, ensuring both clients and clinicians are supported.

Sessions are provided virtually, allowing us to support clients across Ontario and in select provinces where clinicians are licensed to practice. Virtual therapy offers flexibility, privacy, and convenience – making care more accessible regardless of location.
