I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s emotional and relational challenges. My practice focuses on neurodiversity, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, couples therapy, military and first responder mental health, PTSD, adoption-related experiences, interracial family dynamics, and racial identity development.
I hold a degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counselling from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, my professional and lived experiences allow me to provide compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
For more than 15 years, I have supported parents of children on the autism spectrum while also working closely with neurodiverse individuals and clients navigating ADHD. As both a neurodiverse practitioner and parent of a child with ASD, I understand the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that can arise.
Therefore, therapy focuses on building coping strategies, emotional regulation, communication skills, and self-acceptance in a validating and empowering environment. I help clients and families better understand neurodiversity while strengthening confidence, resilience, and connection.
I provide therapy for couples and families experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, estrangement, reconciliation challenges, and major life transitions. Furthermore, I work with military families, first responders, interracial families, and transracial adoptees navigating identity, belonging, and cultural complexities.
Because every family system is different, I take a collaborative and empathetic approach that respects each person’s lived experience, cultural background, and relational goals.
I am deeply committed to providing inclusive, culturally competent, and trauma-informed therapy. My experience working with dual-culture individuals, transracial adoptees, and interracial families has strengthened my understanding of identity development, belonging, and generational experiences.
Additionally, I remain actively engaged in ongoing education and research to ensure clients receive thoughtful, current, and high-quality mental health care. I have also presented at national conferences on multicultural counselling, particularly focusing on transracial adoptees and family systems.
I believe therapy should feel supportive, authentic, and collaborative. Whether you are navigating PTSD, parenting stress, relationship challenges, identity concerns, or neurodiversity-related experiences, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout your healing journey.
Together, we can build practical strategies, strengthen emotional insight, and create lasting change that aligns with your personal values and goals.
