I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professions (OAMHP). I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago Couples Therapy and Brainspotting. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, BPD, low self-worth, and trauma as well as specializing in divorce and separations.
I have had the incredible privilege of living across Canada in my journey to better understand and support mental health needs. Just as we would care for a broken bone, our mental wellbeing should be prioritized rather than stigmatized. Just because we cannot see it physically or measure it does not mean that it isn’t as, if not more, important to our health and happiness. I have a background in Psychology and Medicine from Wayne State University and Saba University School of Medicine and hold a Master’s Degree from Yorkville University.
Most importantly, I work through a lens of lived experience with trauma and mental illness, which allows me to have a unique understanding and relationship with my clients. I know how wonderful it would be to have a map in order to find a way out of the darkness and fear. I also know that with the right skills and tools along the way it is possible to emerge a stronger and more resilient person.
As a psychotherapist in Windsor and Cambridge, Ontario I enjoy giving back to my community through various community programs. Atlas Therapy will be partnering with local farms to begin animal-assisted therapy to offer an alternative and highly effective form of psychotherapy. This has been shown to be particularly beneficial for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma. We work to help support our clients in every way possible while believing in both traditional and alternative methods, we continue exploring new techniques and approaches to stay at the forefront of our field.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor who has been practicing in the field for the past 8 years both in community mental health services and private practice. Training in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy have strongly impacted the integrative therapeutic approach that I take with clients. I appreciate the opportunity to meet with individuals virtually in Ontario who are struggling with depression, anxiety, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum issues and trauma.
Throughout our lives, we can often come up against many difficult situations and experiences that shape the way we view ourselves. Our internal stories created by these events can lead to ongoing conflicts and distress. At times, this can leave us feeling hopeless and lead us to question our strengths and abilities. This is where I help to support you in gaining self-awareness and creating lasting change to reshape your self-image and personal narrative.
Over the past 8 years, I have had the honour and privilege of joining individuals on their therapeutic journey and working together to explore their challenges and struggles while also moving towards creating a life that is meaningful for them. Through my own personal therapy, and as a wife and mother of two I have come to learn the importance of having a non-judgmental, trusting and safe space to promote healing. Within this space, I also strongly value authenticity and genuineness. These guiding principles have greatly informed the person-centred approach that I utilize.
I recognize the courage and strength that comes from seeking support during challenging times. I also recognize the importance of finding the right therapist. Because of this, a free 15-minute consultation is available in hopes of providing a better understanding of how I can help support you on this journey.
Welcome to a journey of self-discovery and healing. As a dedicated and compassionate social worker, my mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your inner world, face life’s challenges, and unlock your potential for personal growth. I provide support to individuals in Cambridge, Ontario, and the surrounding areas who are grappling with significant mental health challenges, such as symptoms of trauma, OCD, body dysmorphia, family conflicts, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and emotion regulation. I also have a focus in working with children 3+ and teens, and the LGBTQ2Spirited community and am certified in EMDR.
My goal is to establish a strong therapeutic connection with each client, creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space to explore their current challenges and assist them in overcoming these obstacles using various theoretical modalities. I draw from evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Family Systems Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Play Therapy, as well as other approaches tailored to each client’s strengths and needs. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Children and their Families and spent 8 years working at SickKids Hospital and the Toronto Neurofeedback Psychotherapy Centre.
As a single parent to a 5-year-old child I understand the importance of self-care and practice yoga and mindfulness regularly to centre myself in my daily life. I use the tools that I teach so I can have a deeper understanding of my clients and the work we do together. Call today and book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we would be a good match.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with 8 years of experience in the field of mental health. My expertise encompasses various conditions, including Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), trauma, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder. I work with adults, couples, and families, offering a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
I firmly believe that negative coping mechanisms and self-sabotaging behaviours are indicative of underlying issues, such as low self-esteem, unhelpful beliefs about oneself or the world, or unmanageable relational conflicts. Irrespective of the root cause, I am dedicated to assisting clients in exploring the origins of their problematic behaviours and guiding them toward more adaptive coping strategies. My goal is to support clients in achieving lasting change and fostering confidence and control in addressing future challenges. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can openly express themselves, with a strong commitment to validating their experiences and strengthening their self-identity, both individually and within their families.
In my therapeutic approach, I emphasize collaboration and partnership. I work closely with my clients to empower them while collaboratively pursuing their desired goals and changes. You are the ultimate authority on your life, understanding your unique needs. I respect your guidance while offering the necessary support and guidance when it’s needed.

The counselling process can feel overwhelming especially when life gives us complex challenges. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to my clients as we navigate these challenges together. I appreciate the value of bringing levity and light-heartedness to difficult circumstances. I tailor therapy based on each client’s learning style, personality, and specific needs. To do so, I value learning about individual abilities and skills as these contribute towards building resilience. I encourage clients to see challenges as opportunities to move towards a more well-balanced perspective and personal growth.
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision. I have a no-obligation 15-minute consultation to help you explore if I am a good fit for you. I acknowledge your innate strength as you take these first steps towards better mental health.

I am a certified Life Coach who has been helping women over the past 10 years find purpose, balance and unlimited inner strength. I graduated from the Rhodes Wellness College of Canada after which I specialized in Women’s health and nutrition. I work to impact all areas of your life including business, love, health and friendship. Through goal setting, building self-confidence, inner power and altering mindset I help women to find the best versions of themselves.
I grew up in Cambridge, Ontario watching my mother work full-time while maintaining a household and raising two children. I often found myself wondering how she managed all of this and why so much responsibility was placed on her with these multiple roles. Despite all of this she never realized how vital and important she was. Today women continue to take on many roles while facing challenges along the way. They hold greater positions of power in the workforce, they are more educated, they are more powerful and capable and yet they are still judged. Self-doubt, stress, fear, and uncertainty are all areas that hold many women back from reaching their full potential and achieving a life they did not even know was possible. It is my passion to help make this a reality for every woman that I work with. – Atlastherapy
“Elizabeth was both inspiring as well as practical in her approach. Working with her was one of the best decisions I have made in years.”- Madison S.
“I now have a positive outlook on life and my future. The incredible changes that everyone around me has noticed just add to my momentum. I would recommend Elizabeth to any woman looking for a deeper meaning in life.”
-Laura B.
