I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professions (OAMHP). I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago Couples Therapy and Brainspotting. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, BPD, low self-worth, and trauma as well as specializing in divorce and separations.
I have had the incredible privilege of living across Canada in my journey to better understand and support mental health needs. Just as we would care for a broken bone, our mental wellbeing should be prioritized rather than stigmatized. Just because we cannot see it physically or measure it does not mean that it isn’t as, if not more, important to our health and happiness. I have a background in Psychology and Medicine from Wayne State University and Saba University School of Medicine and hold a Master’s Degree from Yorkville University.
Most importantly, I work through a lens of lived experience with trauma and mental illness, which allows me to have a unique understanding and relationship with my clients. I know how wonderful it would be to have a map in order to find a way out of the darkness and fear. I also know that with the right skills and tools along the way it is possible to emerge a stronger and more resilient person.
As a psychotherapist in Windsor and Cambridge, Ontario I enjoy giving back to my community through various community programs. Atlas Therapy will be partnering with local farms to begin animal-assisted therapy to offer an alternative and highly effective form of psychotherapy. This has been shown to be particularly beneficial for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD and trauma. We work to help support our clients in every way possible, while believing in both traditional and alternative methods, we continue exploring new techniques and approaches to stay at the forefront of our field.

I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, utilizing a compassion focused, client-centred, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based lens. I strive to build strong therapeutic rapport with each of my clients by fostering a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space to explore your current challenges and support you in overcoming these difficulties using various theoretical modalities. A few of the evidence-based interventions that I use are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as other therapeutic approaches based on client strengths and need. I am confident that I can support you in becoming a stronger and more resilient version of yourself. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor who has been practicing in the field for the past 8 years both in community mental health services and private practice. Training in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy have strongly impacted the integrative therapeutic approach that I take with clients. I appreciate the opportunity to meet with individuals virtually in Ontario who are struggling with depression, anxiety, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum issues and trauma.
Throughout our lives, we can often come up against many difficult situations and experiences that shape the way we view ourselves. Our internal stories created by these events can lead to ongoing conflicts and distress. At times, this can leave us feeling hopeless and lead us to question our strengths and abilities. This is where I help to support you in gaining self-awareness and creating lasting change to reshape your self-image and personal narrative.
Over the past 8 years, I have had the honour and privilege of joining individuals on their therapeutic journey and working together to explore their challenges and struggles while also moving towards creating a life that is meaningful for them. Through my own personal therapy, and as a wife and mother of two I have come to learn the importance of having a non-judgmental, trusting and safe space to promote healing. Within this space, I also strongly value authenticity and genuineness. These guiding principles have greatly informed the person-centred approach that I utilize.
I recognize the courage and strength that comes from seeking support during challenging times. I also recognize the importance of finding the right therapist. Because of this, a free 15-minute consultation is available in hopes of providing a better understanding of how I can help support you on this journey.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who has been working in the mental health and addiction field for the past 8 years. I specialize in substance use and behavioral addictions (hypersexuality, pornography, problem gambling, technology/video game use and overspending). I am experienced in working with concurrent disorders including Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I work with adults, couples and families who are either directly or indirectly impacted by substances, addictions, depression, anxiety and trauma using different techniques from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Functional Family Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I believe that addiction and self-sabotaging behaviours are a symptom of a deeper issue such as low self-esteem, unhelpful beliefs about you or the world or unmanageable relational conflict. Whatever the underlying issue may be, I support the client in exploring the root cause of their problem behaviour to find more adaptive ways of coping. I help the client create sustainable change to feel more confident and in control of navigating future challenges. In my work, I see firsthand how addiction is a lack of connection; how a client’s addictive behaviour can tear them from their family, friends and their sense of self. I work alongside the client to help rebuild the connection both with their loved ones and with themselves. I support all members who have been impacted by the ripple effect of addiction and mental illness by fostering a safe space for each client to freely talk without the fear of judgment. I believe in validating all experiences and empowering their sense of self to help them become more resilient as individuals and as a family.
My therapeutic relationship with clients is built on collaboration. I help to create a partnership between myself and my clients to nurture self-efficacy and to work towards desired goals and changes. You are the expert on your life and understand your own needs. I follow your lead and provide guidance and support as needed.
Choosing the right therapist can be an overwhelming decision. I hope to make that process a little easier by offering a free 15-minute consultation to help you decide if I am a good fit for you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and am currently completing my internship at Atlas Therapy in Cambridge. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, challenges with parenting and have a special focus on couples therapy. I have previously worked in international development, community food security, and refugee resettlement. I hold a BSc Economics and Mathematics, MSc Economics, MA International Relations, and an MA in Counselling Psychology.
I am extremely passionate about cultural and spiritual diversity. I am gender and neurodiversity affirming in all aspects of my clinical work. Using CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gottman, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and mindfulness, I work alongside clients to help them identify and achieve their goals. It is important for me to also understand my clients through a lens of personal life experience including loss, being a mother of two and navigating the ups and downs of a long-term marriage.
The counselling process can feel overwhelming especially when life gives us complex challenges. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to my clients as we navigate these challenges together. I appreciate the value of bringing levity and light-heartedness to difficult circumstances. I tailor therapy based on each client’s learning style, personality, and specific needs. To do so, I value learning about individual abilities and skills as these contribute towards building resilience. I encourage clients to see challenges as opportunities to move towards a more well-balanced perspective and personal growth.
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision. I have a no-obligation 15-minute consultation to help you explore if I am a good fit for you. I acknowledge your innate strength as you take these first steps towards better mental health.

I am a certified Life Coach who has been helping women over the past 10 years find purpose, balance and unlimited inner strength. I graduated from the Rhodes Wellness College of Canada after which I specialized in Women’s health and nutrition. I work to impact all areas of your life including business, love, health and friendship. Through goal setting, building self-confidence, inner power and altering mindset I help women to find the best versions of themselves.
I grew up in Cambridge, Ontario watching my mother work full-time while maintaining a household and raising two children. I often found myself wondering how she managed all of this and why so much responsibility was placed on her with these multiple roles. Despite all of this she never realized how vital and important she was. Today women continue to take on many roles while facing challenges along the way. They hold greater positions of power in the workforce, they are more educated, they are more powerful and capable and yet they are still judged. Self-doubt, stress, fear, and uncertainty are all areas that hold many women back from reaching their full potential and achieving a life they did not even know was possible. It is my passion to help make this a reality for every woman that I work with. – Atlastherapy
“Elizabeth was both inspiring as well as practical in her approach. Working with her was one of the best decisions I have made in years.”- Madison S.
“I now have a positive outlook on life and my future. The incredible changes that everyone around me has noticed just add to my momentum. I would recommend Elizabeth to any woman looking for a deeper meaning in life.”
