I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO and a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician with ATTCH Academy. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biochemistry from Memorial University, along with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With nearly a decade of experience in community mental health and social services before entering private psychotherapy, I bring a deep understanding of systems into the therapeutic space with me.
My Approach to Therapy
While my approach is integrative, it is mainly informed by existential, person-centered, psychodynamic, attachment, family systems, narrative, polyvagal, reality, and cognitive behavioural therapies. I support individuals 18 and older navigating addictions, grief, life transitions, the human condition*, self-identity and discovery, relationships, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
*The human condition refers to the totality of the human experience, such as navigating mortality, finding purpose and meaning, transitions, mindset, and consciousness.
Next Steps
My practice is deeply collaborative. Above all, it is built on the philosophy that I am not here to “fix” you, as there is nothing broken. My job is to help you better understand yourself, cultivate resilience, define meaning, and create adaptive change. I offer free consultations for virtual sessions across Ontario & various parts of Canada.
